Huawei sub-brand Honor is all set to launch the Honor 20 series and the announcement will take place on May 21 in London. The company has posted invites on its social media accounts and the official Honor website confirming the name of the series while also teasing impressive low-light photography. The Honor 20-series will likely see the launch of the Honor 20 that will succeed last year’s Honor 10, and perhaps a Pro device that could follow the footsteps of the Huawei P30 Pro.It seems Honor is planning to launch more than one flagship in the upcoming Honor 20-series. The company expected to announce the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro that are expected to come with Huawei’s flagship Kirin 980 chipset. Additionally, the company is also tipped to launch the Honor 20i/Honor 20 Lite, Honor 20A, Honor 20C and Honor 20X in the series, but these announcements may take place over the next few months. The Honor 20 will be a direct successor to last year’s Honor 10. Apart from an updated Kirin 980 chipset, the Honor 20 could tout a new display with either a waterdrop notch or a hole-punch like the Honor View 20 (Review). A triple camera setup is also expected that could include a 48MP primary camera. The Honor 20 is also tipped to come with a 32MP selfie camera, Android Pie and 3,650mAh battery. The Honor 20 Pro as the name suggests will likely offer a bigger display and possibly additional cameras compared to the Honor 20. If the phone is indeed being modeled after the Huawei P30 Pro, you can expect a quad camera setup with a Periscope zoom lens for 5x optical zoom. As of now there is nothing concrete on the Honor 20 Pro.advertisementHonor is teasing impressive low-light photography, which seems to suggests the Honor 20 will get a similar SuperSpectrum sensor as the Huawei P30 Pro. The sensor allows for 40 per cent more light, leading to some stellar low-light photography on the P30 Pro.Meanwhile, the Honor 20i has already gone official in China and is the first phone in the Honor 20-series. The Honor 20i may launch globally as the Honor 20 Lite. The phone comes with a 6.21-inch display and is powered by a Kirin 710 chipset paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The Honor 20i sports a triple camera setup with a 24MP primary camera. It is offered in red and blue gradient colours as well as a plain black colour.ALSO READ | Honor View 20 review: The flagship Honor is a hole lot of fun
ANN ARBOR, MI – APRIL 04: Head coach Jim Harbaugh of the Michigan Wolverines listens in on an offensive huddle during the Michigan Football Spring Game on April 4, 2015 at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Michigan. (Photo by Gregory Shamus/Getty Images)Today is the 40th anniversary of the wreck of the SS Edmund Fitzgerald in Lake Superior off the coast of Michigan. The ship’s entire 29-man crew died in the tragedy. It’s a haunting historical event for many who live in the area. Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh has already admitted that his favorite song is Gordon Lightfoot’s “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald” which is a tribute to the captain and crew of the ill-fated ship. This afternoon, Harbaugh tweeted out a link to Lightfoot’s song as a way of remembering those who perished in the storm 40 years ago. Remembering the captain and crew of the Edmund Fitzgerald today. Twitter Andrew Phung: that TV guy who was discovered . . .while performing improv. Not long after he began filming the CBC comedy Kim’s Convenience this summer, the Calgarian was keeping his improv chops sharp by performing two nights a week at Toronto’s Bad Dog Theatre. When he first went into the theatre to introduce himself, he found his story had preceded him. LEAVE A REPLY Cancel replyLog in to leave a comment Login/Register With: Advertisement “A girl said ‘Are you the guy that got discovered at an improv show? There’s a story floating around that you got discovered at an improv show!’” says Phung. “I said: ‘Well, yeah, sort of.’ She said ‘That’s amazing, can you tell me the story?’ So it’s kind of become folklore in the improv scene.”For Calgarians, the idea that Phung needed to be discovered may seem strange. He has been a consistent presence in the city for more than decade, having joined the venerable Loose Moose Theatre as a 16-year-old. He’s been a go-to guy for hosting and emcee gigs for years, whether it be for corporations or other organizations. He’s topped local “best-of” lists for his comedic prowess. But, the simple fact is, national shows rarely cast in Calgary, or anywhere else other than Toronto and Vancouver. And Phung, who has a two-year-old son and another baby on the way, made the decision years ago to stay in his hometown. Television, he thought, was not in his future. But in the summer of 2015, he was performing his two-person improvised action-movie parody called Kill Hard with fellow Loose Mooser Jamie Northan at the Edmonton Fringe Festival. In the audience was writer Ins Choi, the man behind the hit 2011 play Kim’s Convenience. He told Phung he liked his performance and thought he would be perfect for the role of Kimchee in the upcoming TV adaptation. Facebook Advertisement Advertisement
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – President Donald Trump said Friday that he was inclined to support a bipartisan effort in Congress to ease the U.S. ban on marijuana, a proposal that would dramatically reshape the nation’s legal landscape for pot users and businesses. The federal ban that puts marijuana on the same level as LSD and heroin has created a conflict with about 30 states that have legalized pot in some form, creating a two-tiered enforcement system at the state and federal levels. The legislation would ensure states have the right to determine the best approach to marijuana within their borders, but some U.S. restrictions would remain, including sales of non-medical pot to people under 21.The proposal introduced Thursday has support from members of Congress from both parties, including Republican U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner of Colorado.“I support Senator Gardner. I know exactly what he’s doing,” Trump told reporters in Washington, when asked about the legislation. “We’re looking at it. But I probably will end up supporting that, yes.”The president’s remarks place him in conflict with his own Justice Department and Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who staunchly opposes marijuana. He lifted an Obama administration policy and freed federal prosecutors to more aggressively pursue cases in states that have legalized marijuana.Asked about the measure in an interview with Colorado Public Radio, Sessions said, “We’ll see how far it goes and how much support there is. … My view is clear: The federal law remains in effect nationwide, just as it does for heroin and cocaine.”The proposal’s prospects in Congress were unclear.Gardner, who heads the Senate Republicans’ campaign arm, is close to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. The Kentucky Republican has consistently opposed legalizing marijuana but has called hemp and marijuana “two entirely separate plants.”The bill would amend the definition of marijuana in federal drug law to exclude industrial hemp, which like marijuana is part of the cannabis plant family but doesn’t contain the THC that gives pot users the high. Hemp produces the non-intoxicating cannabinoids, or CBDs, that have become a health rage and a lucrative crop in Kentucky and other states.Despite his comments, Trump has sent mixed signals on the drug: While campaigning for president, he pledged to respect states that legalized marijuana, but he also has criticized legalization and implied it should be stopped.“I don’t think anyone would make a bet on the long-term validity of an offhand remark by the president that he ‘probably’ would support something,” said Kevin A. Sabet, head of Smart Approaches to Marijuana, a nonpartisan group opposed to marijuana legalization. “I think he’ll find out soon from … victims of marijuana addiction and impaired driving that this is not as popular as Cory Gardner is leading him to believe.”Trump’s remarks Friday echo a promise that Gardner said he received privately from the president in April to support legislation protecting the marijuana industry in states that have legalized the drug.“My legislation is in line with what President Trump said on the campaign and what he and I have discussed several times since he was elected,” Gardner said in a statement Friday. He welcomed the president’s “continued interest in an approach that respects the will of the voters in each state.”Another co-sponsor of the measure, Democratic U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, said in a statement that Washington “needs to get out of the business of outlawing marijuana.”California, home to one in eight Americans, launched the nation’s largest legal marijuana marketplace on Jan. 1 but thousands of businesses that have been licensed are still facing the threat of federal prosecution.A major problem stemming from the federal ban: Major banks have been reluctant to do business with marijuana companies, fearing it could lead to prosecution. In California, for example, paying taxes and other transactions are often carried out in cash, sometimes in vast amounts. The bill includes language intended to address financial issues caused by the federal ban.___Associated Press writers Nicholas Riccardi in Denver and Kevin Freking in Washington contributed.___Blood is a member of AP’s marijuana beat team. Gurugram: Ninety-two schools have been sent notices for being unregistered. The action comes after the High Court took stern notice of over 1000 schools with no licences.According to official data, there are over 200 unlicensed schools that are functional in the city. As most of these private schools are not registered they too get away in charging exorbitant sums from the parents. For long it has been alleged by educations activists and aggrieved parents that the district administration has not penalised these unlicensed schools some of it are operational since 2007. Also Read – After eight years, businessman arrested for kidnap & murderIn March this year Parents of over 300 students at Global High School in Sector -57 faced a harrowing time as they have been provided with a notice by the school management of its abrupt closure. Not only does a lack of licence give a leeway of these schools to increase the fees but also it puts the safety of children in jeopardy. In an alarming figure that puts a serious question mark over the safety of school children over 20 private schools in Gurugram are functioning without the NOC from the fire department. The information has been revealed from the survey conducted by the fire department Also Read – Two brothers held for snatchingsThe information cites that most of these Private schools are prominent schools in the schools in the city. The fire officials have cited that while most of the schools have not applied for the renewal of the license, there are also certain schools whose license were rejected due to inadequate fire safety systems. Sources in the fire department have cited that lack of action by the authorities is resulting in most of the establishments including schools in the city getting away and not renewing their fire safety licenses. Besides the private schools, there are certain government establishments including the city’s civil hospital that does not have a fire safety clearance certificate.
The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) and The Arts and Cultural Heritage Trust (TAACHT) inaugurated the Jallianwala Bagh Centenary Commemoration Exhibition (1919–2019) in New Delhi to an overwhelming response. The exhibition is on till April 28, 2019 from 10 am to 6.30 pm except on Mondays. The exhibition was inaugurated by Ram Bahadur Rai, President of IGNCA, P V Ramesh, Director General, National Archives of India, and Colonel Bogra, grandson of Lala Duni Chand who was a part of the Municipal Corporation of Lahore in 1919. Dr Sachchdinand Joshi, Member Secretary, IGNCA and Kishwar Desai chairperson of The Arts And Cultural Heritage Trust (TAACHT) joined them in lighting the lamp. Also Read – An income drop can harm brainThe exhibition focuses on the history of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, in the form of newspapers, reports and photographs from that time. All of these are put into a historical context: of the events leading up to the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, and the horrific aftermath. This exhibition also tells the story of Punjab in 1919 in a new way—through its impact on people’s lives. The Jallianwala Bagh massacre was one part of a much larger system of colonial oppression in Punjab that lasted for months, even years. Also Read – Shallu Jindal honoured with Mahatma AwardIt also crucially examines whether it was a conspiracy to trap people inside Jallianwala Bagh with no escape routes. The exhibition uses various installations and mediums to explore the tragedy that befell Amritsar on April 13, 1919 and the martial law that followed. There is also a significant art installation comprising the sort of everyday objects and clothes that may have been strewn in the Bagh after the massacre. This is based on eyewitness accounts. In his welcome address, Dr Joshi while paying his respects to the martyrs stressed on how “Sikhs, Hindus, and Muslims lost their lives together in Amritsar, and that is why Jallianwala Bagh is a reminder of India’s collective tragedy but also its unity and strength in times of crisis.” Kishwar Desai delivered the curator’s note and thanked the young TAACHT team that has worked tirelessly for over two years to put up this exhibition. She also said that the exhibition is a “shradhanjali” to the martyrs. Some of the material at the exhibition comes from the National Archives of India and P V Ramesh noted that, “that this exhibition looks at the darkest moment of colonial rule for not just our country but an entire civilisation and the spirit of the martyrs must inspire not just us but the future generations for another hundred years.” In his presidential address, Ram Bahadur Rai stressed on how Brigadier General Dyer “deliberately killed innocent people and made sure that they could not escape.” He mentioned the infamous well that was “filled with corpses.”
FiveThirtyEight’s model calls Monday night’s NCAA men’s basketball championship game between Kentucky and Connecticut a tossup. If it’s as close as each team’s win probabilities are, the game will probably come down to free throws. If it does, advantage, UConn. The Huskies have hit 77.4 percent of their free throws this season, good for fifth out of the 351 teams in Division I. That’s the highest free-throw percentage ranking for a Final Four team since Michigan State ranked third in the nation in 2005. And if UConn shoots well at the line and beats Kentucky, the Huskies will have the highest free-throw percentage ranking of any champion since before the 1998 Final Four, the earliest for which stats are available. Kentucky is hitting 68.4 percent of its free throws, just 228th overall.Hitting lots of free throws is, not surprisingly, helpful for winning college basketball games, and in Storrs, Conn., free-throw shooting has become a key part of success. During the 2010-2011 season, current UConn associate coach Glen Miller found and shared a video of Steve Nash shooting from the free-throw line (Nash is a career 90.4 percent shooter in the NBA). That year, the Jim Calhoun-coached Huskies won the championship while finishing 11th nationally in free-throw shooting. UConn hit 82 percent of its free throws in the tournament. It was a big improvement from the Huskies’ No. 312 ranking the prior time they won the title under Calhoun, in 2004. (That was the lowest ranking in free-throw accuracy for a champion on record.)Last season, its first under coach Kevin Ollie, UConn ranked 31st. During his four years as a Husky in the 1990s, Ollie improved his accuracy from the line, going from 71.8 percent his freshman year to 80.6 percent in his senior year. And under Ollie, UConn has improved, too. All three players to shoot at least 80 free throws last year and this year for UConn have a higher percentage this season.Even if you don’t appreciate the aesthetic value of Shabazz Napier’s free-throw shooting as much our Grantland colleague Louisa Thomas does, you should appreciate its value to the Huskies. Napier has hit 86.9 percent of his free throws this season, up from 81.9 percent last year. He’s also taken 64 percent more foul shots. He’s been even better in the tournament, missing just twice on 31 tries. To approximate the importance of free-throw accuracy for the Huskies’ success, I checked a few simple what-if scenarios. If they’d shot free throws in each game this season at the rate they shot last year (74.3 percent), or the national average rate this season (69.8 percent), the Huskies would have lost two more games during the season and been forced into overtime in a third. A loss in that overtime game could have jeopardized their tournament berth. At the national average rate, UConn would have hit just 15 of 22 free throws in both its Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight games — instead of hitting 20 and 21, respectively. Both games would have gone into overtime, which would have jeopardized its Final Four berth. And if the Huskies had shot in each game at the same rate as their opponent in that game, they would have lost their Sweet Sixteen game against Iowa State.Of course, these are overly simplified scenarios; games probably wouldn’t have played out exactly the same way with different free-throw results. But that could cut both ways: Perhaps a team of Huskies who were weaker from the line would have done even worse because they wouldn’t have gotten to shoot the back end of one-and-ones, or because opponents would have fouled them more often and prevented more field goals. Then again, the record of recent Final Fours shows plenty of teams can succeed while laying lots of bricks from the free-throw line. One conclusion is clear: UConn almost certainly wouldn’t have gotten this far without Napier’s deadeye accuracy with the clock stopped, or without that Steve Nash video. We conceded the goal. That was the only thing,” said Van Dijk, according to FourFourTwo.“But it was an important win. By James Wright, Special to the AFRO email@example.comThe District’s mayor’s budget proposal includes many provisions that address the concerns of African Americans.Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) held a reporters’ roundtable March 26 at the John A. Wilson Building. The purpose of the roundtable was to brief reporters on her 2019 fiscal year budget.Muriel Bowser is the mayor of the District of Columbia. (AFRO Stock Photo)“I gave the budget to the D.C. Council on March 21 and testified for it on March 23,” Bowser said. “The council will go through their usual 54-day review period in which they will make changes, if any, that they see fit. This year, the council will vote on it at the end of May, which is earlier than usual.”The $14.5 billion budget proposal includes investments in infrastructure, education, affordable housing, health and human services, economic opportunity, seniors and public safety. One of the key line items in the budget is $300 million for a new, state of the art hospital on the St. Elizabeths East campus in Ward 8.“This new hospital will replace the United Medical Center,” the mayor said in response to a question by the AFRO. The United Medical Center is the District’s only comprehensive medical facility east of the Anacostia River and it has been plagued over the years with financial problems due to the high costs of treating uninsured patients and questionable financial management.Bowser put $6 million for water bill relief for District residents. There has been ongoing controversy about the exorbitant rates that African-American churches and residents are being charged on their water bills that is due to a federal mandate to fix the city’s aging storm water system and has nothing to do with their own water usage.Bowser told the AFRO that she is well-aware of the matter and has sent a letter to DC Water indicating that their rates are unfair to District residents. In the meantime, she said water bill rates will continue to rise and the $6 million will help District churches and residents.“We are proposing some relief,” she said. “The $6 million will be used to help low-income households and others. We are also asking DC Water to match the $6 million in relief and freeze some of the charges on residents’ water bills for three years.”There are only three full-service grocery stores in both Wards 7 and 8 and Bowser’s budget has funded a program to deal with that.“I am aware that developer Jair Lynch is looking to bring a grocer in the Penn Branch shopping center in Ward 7 that could be Fresh Foods and there is an effort to bring Good Foods Market in another part of Ward 7 as well as a grocer in Ward 8 on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue. That is the purpose of the Neighborhood Fund.”Affordable housing is an issue for many Black District residents and the mayor funded the Housing Production Fund Trust at the level of $100 million. She allocated $1.5 million in capital funds to expand the Model Cities & Congress Heights Senior Wellness Centers in Ward 8 and $12.5 million increase for childcare investments, including an increase in childcare subsidies.D.C. Council member Trayon White (D-Ward 8), who has publicly disagreed with Bowser on some issues regarding his ward, praised her budget.“Muriel Bowser answered the call with not all but a lot of great wins for Ward 8,” White said in a message to his constituents urging them to get involved in the budget process. “It’s in the council now so our work is not done.”
Spin waves are where the electronic spin of one atom is transferred to another and then to another and so on propagating through a group. In this new research, the team found that by embedding information in a spin wave, and then retrieving it later, they could take advantage of the time it takes for the propagation to occur all the way though all of the atoms, thus allowing for holding onto quantum state information for a specified period of time.To make this come about, the team built a magneto-optical trap that first slowed atoms down using a laser beam. Once slowed, the atoms were held steady using magnets in a vertical triangular trap. When a photon was introduced, it caused a spin that was propagated through the atoms, creating a spin wave. At the other end, another laser fired at the same frequency as the first but with the opposite polarization caused the spin to be converted back into a photon, which revealed the quantum state information that had been held first in the original photon, and then conveyed through the wave. Using this technique, the team found that they could hold on to the quantum state information for 3.2 milliseconds and that the process was between seventy one and seventy five percent efficient. What’s more, the team believes that if optical lattices were introduced into the trap, i.e. crossed laser beams with different frequencies, they could make the whole system even more efficient. They also believe that this new process could be used as a means for creating memory storage in an actual quantum computer. More information: Efficient and long-lived quantum memory with cold atoms inside a ring cavity, Nature Physics (2012) doi:10.1038/nphys2324AbstractQuantum memories are regarded as one of the fundamental building blocks of linear-optical quantum computation and long-distance quantum communication. A long-standing goal to realize scalable quantum information processing is to build a long-lived and efficient quantum memory. There have been significant efforts distributed towards this goal. However, either efficient but short-lived or long-lived but inefficient quantum memories have been demonstrated so far. Here we report a high-performance quantum memory in which long lifetime and high retrieval efficiency meet for the first time. By placing a ring cavity around an atomic ensemble, employing a pair of clock states, creating a long-wavelength spin wave and arranging the set-up in the gravitational direction, we realize a quantum memory with an intrinsic spin wave to photon conversion efficiency of 73(2)% together with a storage lifetime of 3.2(1) ms. This realization provides an essential tool towards scalable linear-optical quantum information processing.via Arstechnica This document is subject to copyright. Quantum memory for communication networks of the future Journal information: Nature Physics (Phys.org) — One of the main sticking points to creating a true quantum computer capable of performing meaningful work, is the problem of storing quantum state information in memory. Recent efforts have resulted in highly efficient memory that lasted only a short time or low efficient memory that lasts longer. Now, a combined group of two teams, one from China and one from Germany, have come up with a way that appears to offer the best of both worlds. As they describe in their paper published in the journal Nature Physics, they found that they were able to store quantum information in atomic spin waves. Kolkata: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement of India’s anti-satellite missile capability on Wednesday was “limitless drama and publicity mongering”, amounting to “gross violation” of the model code of conduct, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said. The PM made the announcement ahead of the Lok Sabha polls to “reap political benefits”, Banerjee, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo, said. “There is no great urgency in conducting and announcing the mission now by a government past its expiry date. It seems a desperate oxygen to save the imminent sinking of the BJP boat. We are lodging a complaint with the Election Commission,” she said. This is a gross violation of Model Code of Conduct,” Banerjee tweeted. We are always proud of our scientists, @DRDO_India, other research & space organisations,” she tweeted. The TMC had earlier criticised the prime minister for trying to “take the credit” of the achievement of space scientists in shooting down a live satellite. The party said this would not have any impact on the poll prospects of the BJP in the upcoming elections. “Narendra Modi should stop taking credit for the achievement or job done by others. Shooting down a satellite is the credit of our scientists. The Modi government in the last five years has failed to provide any relief to the people of the country,” senior TMC leader and West Bengal minister Firhad Hakim said. “So ahead of the elections, the BJP and Modi should stop these tricks to fool the masses. It won’t have any impact on the poll prospects of the BJP in the upcoming elections,” Hakim said. Modi said the action was not directed against any country and the satellite was a pre-determined target orbiting at an altitude of 300 km.
Kolkata: Sporadic incidents of violence were reported from various districts soon after the counting of votes started and the BJP put up a fairly good result on Thursday.Trinamool Congress and BJP activists blamed each others for triggering the violence. In some places the BJP accused Trinamool Congress workers of hurling bombs while some TMC activists alleged BJP for capturing their party office. Clashes broke out in various parts of Ranaghat Lok Sabha constituency after election results started pouring in. A BJP worker in the Bagula area identified as Kanu Biswas received serious injuries. He was taken to Krishnanagar hospital. 24Mar Rep. Lyons’ elections legislation protects taxpayers Elections measure passes House with bipartisan support Categories: News The House today passed Rep. Lyons’ bill to prohibit those expelled or those who have resigned from legislative office from running in the special election called to replace them. The legislation clarifies that when an elected official resigns or is removed from office, that resignation or removal remains in effect for the remainder of that legislative term.State Rep. Lisa Posthumus Lyons, the bill sponsor and chair of the House Elections Committee, said its purpose is to protect taxpayer dollars.“This bill is just common sense,” said Rep. Lyons, R-Alto. “It is absurd that an individual could run to fill a vacancy that their own departure created at the expense of local governments and the taxpayers. If a person who resigns or is removed from office wants to seek that seat in a regular election, the voters should- and will continue to- have the right to decide for themselves whether they will elect that person. The loophole in our current law allowing them to run in a local taxpayer-funded special election to fill their own vacancy simply does a disservice to hard-working taxpayers.”House Bill 5407 now moves to the Senate for consideration.###

The new BBC iPlayer on tablet, smart phone, TV and computerThe BBC is rolling out an updated version of its iPlayer streaming service in a bid to offer a “consistent, but optimised,” experience across different screens. Due to start rolling out today, the BBC said the new version of the iPlayer has been developed using responsive design so that it can be accessed on from different sized screens without the need for separate versions to be built. It also includes a simpler and “easier to browse” homescreen, with the entire service designed to be easier to navigate.“A major focus of this release is making it easier to find something to watch, helping you quickly and easily find the programmes you know you’re looking for and, crucially, helping you discover something new. The current iPlayer’s pretty good if you know what you want to watch, but we know that 42% of visitors are now coming without a particular programme in mind,” said iPlayer boss Dan Taylor announcing the changes. The revamped iPlayer includes new BBC channels pages and different programme categories – gone is the ‘factual’ genre, replaced instead with “genres which users talk about when describing their TV viewing habits: documentaries, food, arts, history, science & nature,” said Taylor.Another new addition is ‘collections’ section that groups programmes by series, season, event or theme. A ‘recently watched’ section lets viewers quickly resume watching shows, while new search tools suggest programmes a viewer may be looking for as soon as they start typing.“I’m very proud of what the iPlayer development teams in London & Salford have built and as I mentioned, this launch is just the beginning,” said Taylor.“We’ve got ambitious plans for later in the year including extending the standard availability window from 7 days to 30 days and introducing new IP only channels (such as a Radio 1 video channel), subject to approval from the BBC Trust. We also have a raft of exciting personalisation features in mind.”The new-look iPlayer starts to roll out today on computers, tablets, mobiles and connected TVs. The iPlayer mobile and tablet apps will be updated with the new interface in the coming months.
