One fan’s foot today after she was trampledDONEGAL music fans have spoken of their terror at a country music jamboree in Co Tyrone – after teenage thugs vomited over them.Thousands of people from all over the North West descended on the Jamboree in the Park in Fintona last night.Derek Ryan and Nathan Carter were headlining the event. “The place was coming down with 14-year-olds and most of them were blocked out of their heads,” said one Donegal country music fan.“The place was jammed full and I was seriously afraid of what could happen.“At one stage a teenager came up to our table and vomited over us. It was mayhem, with one way in and one way out.”Fans have been getting their money back from organisers today. Thousands of people who had tickets to the event were refused entry, with several bus loads from Donegal turned away.Several people say they were trampled in the massive crowds – with one fan posting a picture of her sister’s badly bruised leg afterwards. You can see loads more comments on the event here:https://www.facebook.com/jamboreeinthepark?fref=ts FURY AS TEENAGE DRUNKS WRECK JAMBOREE was last modified: November 3rd, 2013 by John2Share this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:FURY AS TEENAGE DRUNKS WRECK JAMBOREE
Irish Water has started work to replace ageing water pipes at Three Trees, Quigleys Point and the Cabry areas of Inishowen. The 5km long water mains run along the R238 regional road and L-1951-1 local road via Quigleys Point Village and will also extend into side roads to facilitate connections to existing water mains. It is understood that removing the existing old cast iron from the public water network and replacing them with new plastic pipes will reduce the risk of contamination. Meanwhile, it is hoped that replacing the ageing water mains and service connections will reduce the instances of bursts and water outages and will ensure a reliable supply of water to customers and local businesses in the area. These works will deliver cost savings by providing improved water network operation that will require less maintenance in the future. It is expected that initial section of pipe installation and temporary reinstatement works to Quigley’s Point will last for approximately nine weeks with works from Quigley’s point towards Redcastle to follow on from this for approximately eight weeks.A spokesperson for Irish Water said: Works have commenced and are progressing well. “The works may involve some short-term water shut offs and the project team will ensure that customers are given a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to any planned water shutoffs.“Traffic management will be in place during this time. Local and emergency traffic will be maintained at all times.“We understand that this type of work can be inconvenient and works crews will make every effort to minimise any disruption these necessary works may cause.“The contractor will be monitoring traffic build-up during peak times in the morning and evening and will switch to a manned stop/go control should there be an unacceptable build-up of traffic.”Work underway to replace ageing water mains in Inishowen was last modified: October 4th, 2019 by Shaun KeenanShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)
They are large enough for holding back my hair, clipping back while applying hair extensions. No other similar sides are strong enough to hold my long thick hair but these do the job more than adequately. Very happy with this clips . The item was delivered before the due date and the clips are nice and big, i would definitely buy this item again. Great for long and thick hair as they are very long and have a good grip – regular sized ones never did anything for me, but i can successfully use these under a wig. Excellent service – item arrived very quickly. Had been looking for some larger sized bendy grips and these are exactly what i wanted. Nice colours keeps my hair in place all day without having to redo, also wearable in bed, comfy to sleep in. Much larger than the average clips and feel much sturdier. Too large for my fine hair, but that was my own fault as i underestimated the size of them. The are the only hair slid clips that at man enough if you have a lot of hair. My mum loves these as she doesn’t have much hair. My mum loves these as she doesn’t have much hair and she says these stay in place where other clips do not. Lovely clips and larger than normal. These clips are nice and big and hold my hair in place very well. Very good for use with thick hair. Larger than i thought brilliant. Didnt realise they were so big – my fault for not reading the description. These clips are good if your hair isn’t thin and fine like mine. They do work but tend to slide a way no matter how much hair i put in to the clip. Good value as they would do the job for thicker hair. I bought these for my mum as she had been looking for these clips for some time. For some reason these larger size are not easy to find. They seem to be of a good quality, and hold her hair well. They were also delivered within 3 or 4 days.

Mumbai, Oct 15 (PTI) A court here today issued Letters Rogatory to UAE authorities, seeking some information and evidence regarding a case against former Indian Premier League commissioner Lalit Modi.Letters Rogatory are issued when court or investigators want help from judicial authorities in another country.Enforcement Directorate had filed an application in the court of sessions judge P R Bhavke here seeking LR to the United Arab Emirates in connection with a 2008 deal between World Sports Group (WSG) and Multi Screen Media (MSM) for television rights worth Rs 425 crore for IPL.This is a third LR issued in the case. Earlier the court had issued LRs to Singapore and Mauritius. The court had also issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Modi who is believed to be in UK.Board Of Control for Cricket In India (BCCI) had registered a case in Chennai with regard to the 2008 deal. This was followed by a case registered by the ED.In 2008, after BCCI awarded media rights for IPL for 10 years to WSG for USD 918 million, WSG entered into a deal with Multi Screen Media to make latters TV channel, Sony, official broadcaster of IPL.
